"SANCTUARY"
 "Sanctuary", Gandalf´s fifth
release on the Californian label
Real Music, in the meantime the 30th album since the beginning of
his career, is receiving great response from his audience. In the
USA the CD was #5 Zone-Music-Reporter
- Charts for several months.
In autumn 2009 Gandalf already pesented the music live in a series of
concerts in Austria, Germany and the Netherlands and was greeted with
very enthusiastic applause everywhere. The piece "Alhambra" turned out to be
one of the absolute favourites of the audience (soundsamples in the
right column).
Part of the lineup on stage are Merike
Hilmar (cello) and Christian
Strobl (percussion), who both also contributed to the recording
of the album.

 Currently Gandalf is working on the composition of a
new orchestral project which is planned to be released on CD and
performed live in Vienna on the occasion of his 30th Anniversary in
2011.
